Joining Hall Council

If you are interested in participating in hall council, there are a few options:

Run for an executive board position. We have the following positions available at this time:

  • President

  • Vice President for Advocacy

  • Vice President for Finance

  • Vice President for Communication

  • RHLO Representative (1-3 per council, depending on the size of your community).

  • Vice President for Sustainability

Serve as a Floor Representative. Having a strong membership pool is critical for the success of our Hall Council! Floor Representatives will be responsible for publicizing Hall Council events and initiatives on social media, flyering, and through floor to floor group chats. Floor Representatives will actively assist in creating and planning events for the Hall Council. Floor Reps are crucial for serving as the liaison between the general residential population and Hall Council.

For those of you interested in running for an executive board position, please click here and complete the application. The application will be live beginning until 11:59PM on September 19. Late applications will not be accepted.  All applicants must be available from 9PM-10PM every Tuesday evening. Candidates should contact their Hall Director to have any campaigning materials approved. 

For anyone interested in serving as a Floor Rep, choose the “Floor Representative” option within the application, contact your Hall Director or your RA directly, or just show up at the first Hall Council meeting at 9:00PM on Tuesday January 26! Hall Council meeting locations will be shared by your Hall Director.
