NIGHT CARNIVAL - Night Carnival is a large part of RHLO and Columbia history. Each Spring, our beautiful lawns become transformed into a carnival with inflatables, food, and more completely free of charge to undergraduates at Columbia University as an opportunity to send off our seniors!
A MORNINGSIDE VIEW - Join Columbia's Resident Hall Leadership Organization (RHLO) and Family Support for A Morningside View! During Family Weekend, Columbia families and students are invited to get a glimpse of life at Columbia through a showcase of some of our best student performance groups.
NSOP - The New Student Orientation Program (NSOP) is the first opportunity many students have to experience life at Columbia. To help students transition and meet other members of the Columbia Residential Community, RHLO hosts a series of events throughout the week. Click this link to learn more!
RHLO RETREAT - Each year, new hall council members must attend the annual RHLO retreat where the RHLO Executive board introduces them to their new roles in break-out sessions, event-planning for the year officially kicks off, and students have a chance to ask the RHLO board any questions about the year ahead.
SPOON ASSASSINS - A new addition to RHLO's annual events, Spoon Assassins is a great way to meet people in your residential hall and across the greater Columbia community through friendly competition. For this year's competition, more info is coming soon!
As a sister organization to RHLO, the National Residence Hall Honorary (NRHH) collaborates on larger campus initiatives and helps represent Columbia at NACURH-affiliated conferences. The Coalition Against Sexual Violence (CASV) is an initiative that strives to combat sexual assault and gender-based misconduct within our Columbia community and beyond.
